10:45 P.M.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hi baby,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you smell anything funny on this letter, it’s me. I’m smoking a Camel. The Camel salesman came to dinner today and passed out a pack of the same plus a cigarette holder to each and every student. S, instead of giving anything away my Scotch nature makes me smoke them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bet you can’t guess what I’ve just finished doing. I’ve been drawing women on my cloth notebook cover. One is a very pretty silhouette (?) (black) and the other is\/was a nude. I thought it was very good too but after thinking it over I decided I’d rather not carry a nude in public (if I had to take the book home you know) so I put a nice tight black one piece bathing suit on her in order to cover more or less her more private feminine charms. She really looks nice. (You’d be surprised.) I’m quite an artist. Of course, the fact that I need carbon paper and Varga girls<\/a> for the outline might have made a slight difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you may have guessed, I haven’t too much to do tonight but it’s kind of late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took a Chem. prelim yesterday. I’ll get the results tomorrow. I thought I did fairly well but now I realize I made some more crazy mistakes. I still should get a high C or B- though. That is, if I’m as smart as I thought I was. (Ha)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nate spilled a whole bottle of ink last night and the floor is now a pretty blue in spots. Makes a nice contrast you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have to write a 600 to 1200 word autobiography before next Wed. so try and think of something that I have done thats interesting will you. It should cover at least a week or so of my life. Some fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So the verdict was to be given today on the big case, huh. Nothing will be done, I think, as long as Spuddy [?] was in the bunch. His father and family are too well known. Besides it would spoil the boys chances of getting to college and I don’t think that they are mean enough to do anything drastic. Maybe they should, but I don’t think so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I seem to have gotten on to the next page and its only been 25 minutes since I started. I guess if I have anything to talk about that isn’t very personal and requires no thought, I can write along pretty fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gee, it was a beautiful day today. All the snow is gone now and just about all the ice is goine too. The Physics prof. was out flying a box kite this afternoon and we all watched him. More fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well it’s 11:15 now so I’d better stop now so I can get into my little bed and go to sleep. I’ve got to stay beautiful for you you know. I don’t want you to be ashamed of the character that’s taking you out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just think, I haven’t said anything about my good old faithful words yet. A new record I guess. But don’t worry, I still do and I’ll probably will mention that I love you before I get much further.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll plan on goint to the faculty game Friday. I guess I’ll get home early enough so I can find out if they are playing or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve really got to close beautiful, so I’ll shut up now. I love you darling, and on these nice warm days and nights I miss you awfully even when I’m only gone a week at a time. Be good, ’cause I only love good girls (fairly good anyway) and since I love you so much I’d hate to admit that it was a bad girl I loved. Kind of mixed up I guess but I’m just talking. I love you anyway and there’s not much I can do about it (or want to) Nite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
